To support German-American educational exchange through the celebration of American Jazz.

Our Mission
The mission of the German Language & Culture Foundation is:

  • To provide scholarships to students of the Charlotte Region’s public Immersion Schools, High Schools, Colleges and Universities allowing them to participate in study trips and exchanges with German speaking Europe.
  • To support educational opportunities and exchanges that will create long‐term friendships and promote a better understanding between the people of German speaking countries and the Charlotte Region.
  • To create awareness for bi‐lateral investment opportunities through the activities of the German Language and Culture Foundation.
  • To help revive the Jazz scene in Charlotte, NC by holding an annual “Jazz in the Village” fundraising event in support of our mission.
